Explore the world of symbolism and icon design. Create a set of 5 badges representing landmarks of your favourite cities of the world. They could be minimal or detailed visually. The objective and criteria was based on simplicity and clarity, originality and creativity, consistency, and scalability.
approach
The favourites chosen were representative of cities my husband and I visited on our honeymoon to create the "Honeymooners Badge Collection" where the buyer is invited to commemorate all the stops from their journey. The chosen style was a solid fill without strokes with the exception of the bounding diamond, a shape chosen to represent the diamonds in a wedding ring. The badges are highly recognizable landmarks from each city including the surrounding scene.
